Pre-Configured Work Profiles by Role
Automatically provision Gravity work profiles based on Menu Profiles. New users get ready-to-use dashboards for their job type without manual configuration—accelerating onboarding and ensuring operational consistency.
| Menu Profile | Profile Name | Description | Actions |
|---|---|---|---|
| Picker | Singles | Single item pick orders | |
| Picker | Multi-Line | Multi-line pick batches | |
| Replen | Urgent Replen | Priority replenishment |
Gravity Base Setup is the administration tool for creating and managing template work profiles that are automatically assigned to users based on their Menu Profile. Instead of requiring each user to build their own Gravity dashboards from scratch, base profiles ensure everyone starts with role-appropriate work visibility.
When you assign a team member to a Menu Profile (like "Picker" or "Supervisor"), they automatically receive all base Gravity profiles linked to that role. This means new hires see relevant work queues immediately—no training on profile creation, no inconsistent setups across teams, no delays in productivity.
Base Setup eliminates the "blank slate" problem. New users don't need to learn query building or understand database columns. They log in, see their work, and start executing. Operations managers define what each role should see, and the system provisions it automatically.
The visual query builder makes profile creation accessible to non-technical users. Select columns from dropdown lists with descriptions, choose operators, enter values, and add And/Or logic with parentheses grouping. Dynamic date tokens (TODAY, YESTERDAY, TOMORROW) keep time-based filters current without manual updates.
Consistent visibility across teams starts with standardized configuration.

Everything you need to define and manage base Gravity profiles.
Link base Gravity profiles to Menu Profiles so users automatically receive the right work views when assigned to a role. No manual profile creation needed.
Maintain a library of pre-configured work profiles for common job types: pickers, packers, replenishment, shipping, and supervisors. Copy and customize as needed.
Build profile queries using a visual interface with And/Or logic, parentheses grouping, column selection, operators, and value entry—no SQL required.
Duplicate existing profiles to create variations quickly. Start from proven templates and adjust filters, tabs, and descriptions for specific needs.
Assign profiles to named tabs for organized navigation in Gravity. Group related work views logically so users find what they need instantly.
Query conditions support all standard operators: equals, greater/less than, IN, NOT IN, and LIKE with automatic wildcard handling for flexible filtering.
Use dynamic date tokens (TODAY, YESTERDAY, TOMORROW) in queries so profiles automatically filter to relevant time windows without manual updates.
Base profiles are maintained in a model company (JASCI/MODEL) and deployed to production companies, ensuring consistent starting points across the organization.
From template creation to automatic provisioning in six steps.
Open Gravity Base Setup from the administration menu. View all existing base profiles in a searchable table.
Start fresh with New or duplicate an existing profile with Copy. Copied profiles include all query conditions.
Select which Menu Profile this base Gravity should apply to. Users with that menu will receive this profile.
Set the profile name, tab assignment, and descriptions that users will see in their Gravity dashboard.
Add filter conditions using the visual query builder. Select columns, operators, and values with And/Or logic.
Update saves the profile. Users assigned to the linked Menu Profile will see the new base Gravity on their next login.
