What is Restock Pick?

Restock Pick is a partial-quantity replenishment method where operators pick only the amount needed to refill a pick face—not the entire pallet or case. This "top-off" approach maintains optimal inventory levels without overloading pick locations.

Unlike Letdown replenishment which moves full quantities, Restock Pick is ideal for situations where pick faces have limited capacity or multiple SKUs share space. Operators pick the exact quantity required, enter what they actually picked, and move on.

The "Cut" Button

If an operator can't pick the full required quantity (reserve location is short), they click "Cut" to continue with what they have. JASCI automatically creates a Location Check for the source location so the discrepancy can be investigated—without stopping the replenishment workflow.

After picking, putaway work is created automatically and the operator is directed to their next pick location. The flow is continuous: pick, enter quantity, confirm (or cut), putaway is queued, next task appears.

Precise partial replenishment with exception handling

Partial Quantity Picks

System-Directed Locations

JASCI assigns the pick location after the operator selects their work zone. No guessing which reserve location to pull from.

Product & Quantity Display

After scanning the location, operators see the product and exact quantity required. Enter actual picked quantity.

Cut Functionality

Can't pick the full required quantity? Click "Cut" to continue with what you have. Creates a Location Check automatically.

Automatic Putaway Creation

Once picked, putaway work is created automatically. Operator is directed to the next picking location seamlessly.
