What is Work Lookup?
Work Lookup is JASCI's operational visibility tool that provides complete access to all warehouse work—past, present, and in-progress. Every pick, putaway, pack, and ship operation is searchable and traceable.
Supervisors use Work Lookup to investigate issues, track order status, and take corrective action. Customer service uses it to answer "where's my order" questions. Operations uses it to monitor aging work and team member productivity.
Authority-Controlled Actions
Work Lookup isn't just for viewing—it's for acting. Authorized users can change status, reassign work, assign LPNs, cancel orders (with automatic putaway generation), and unallocate inventory. All actions are controlled by TEAM_MEMBER_AUTHORITIES.
The tool aggregates data from work headers, work lines, work history, and shipment tables into a unified interface. Filter by product, quality, or work type origin to narrow down exactly what you need.

Find all work history for a specific License Plate Number.
Work Type & Status
Filter by work type (Pick, Putaway, Pack) and status (Open, In Progress, Completed).

From search to action in a few clicks
Select Search Criteria
Enter Work Control Number, Sales Order, Purchase Order, LPN, or select Work Type + Status combination.
View Work Type Aging
If using Work Type/Status search, see work counts grouped by creation date. Click VIEW to drill into a specific date.
Browse Work List
See all work matching criteria with WCN, LPN, Priority, Sales Order, PO, PutWall, Last Activity, and Team Member.
View Work Detail
Click DETAIL to see complete header info and all work lines with products, quantities, locations, lots, and serials.
Review History
Click HISTORY to see full audit trail of all actions, team members, and timestamps.
Take Action
Use authorized actions: Change Status, Reassign, Assign LPN, Roll Back/Cancel, View Ship Detail, or Reprint Labels.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I search by product across all work?
Yes. From the Work Type Aging screen, use the Product filter (V1.6) to enter a product and quality. The system searches PRODUCTS and PRODUCT_VARIABLES tables and filters results to only show work containing that item.
What happens when I use Roll Back / Cancel Order?
The system checks if the order is completed or has active tracking. If clear, it creates PUTAWAY work for each picked line, runs slotting to find locations, prints putaway labels, and marks the original order as COMPLETED with ROLLBACK task. Serials are updated to RECEIVE_IN status.
Who can change work status or reassign work?
Only team members with the appropriate authority in TEAM_MEMBER_AUTHORITIES. CHGSTATUS authority allows status changes. REASSIGN authority allows team member reassignment. Both require Authority_Level = 1.
Can I see voided shipments?
Yes. As of V3.6, voided tracking numbers (POST_IT_ID = 'V') are displayed with a larger font red bold "VOIDED" indicator along with the latest ship date. Active shipments are shown normally.
What ship request/response details can I view?
As of V4.1, a "Detail" button appears on work history for SHIPREQUEST and SHIPRESPONSE codes (when COMPANIES.CONTROL24='Y'). Clicking it shows the raw request/response content with an Export option to download as a text file.
