When to Use Cancel Putaway
Use Cancel Putaway when inventory was placed in the wrong location, a post-putaway quality issue is found, receiving errors are discovered, or operational priorities change and inventory needs to be redirected. It's the "undo button" for putaway operations.
In JASCI, Cancel Putaway is accessed from Inbound → Putaway → Cancel Putaway. The workflow is intentionally simple: scan the LPN, see the confirmation, done. The system handles all the inventory updates automatically.
